Dr. William A. Tuccio was a recorder engineer at the National Transportation Safety Board’s Office of Research and Engineering Vehicle Recorder Division from 2010 to 2018 where he authored over 400 reports describing data recovered from avionics in support of accident investigations. He has been a pilot and flight instructor for over 30 years, accruing over 8,000 hours of flight time in general aviation, regional airlines, and military unmanned aviation.
